Why It Matters

Every day, patients depend on donated blood. It cannot be manufactured — only given by people who choose to help.

1 donation Can save up to three lives by separating blood into red cells, platelets, and plasma.
Every 2 sec Someone in the world needs a blood transfusion.
Supply Blood has a limited shelf life — hospitals depend on a constant flow of voluntary donors.
